The Great reset is an event for Koolant that happens whenever a drive fails/large amounts of data is lost.
Currently 2 Great Resets have occurred
Great Reset Events
The Great Reset 1
- This great reset was caused when Koolant's TeamGroup 1TB NVMe SSD failed. His computer had bluescreened in the middle of editing a video (Luckily the footage and Premiere project were on his other drive)
- Around 5 months of work/files were lost. (Including the full 100 days one chunk challenge video) This was a big demotivator for Koolant, but he was able to recover, as his other drive had most of the other important data.
- This reset also caused him to lose his MCreator mod, More Music Mod. He had not backed up his workspace, leaving the only backups of the mod being the compiled mods, as some where shared over Discord. The mod is now on indefinite pause.

- This Great reset was caused when Koolant's WD/Easystore external drive died due to falling off his desk. It is currently waiting to be repaired, however this may take a long time.
